How to get

Moulay Idriss is 30 km north of Meknes, and Volubilis is a little further north. To get to Moulay Idriss, take a taxi from Grand street of Yougoslavie or from the square below Place el Hedim (by the way, 10dh). There are also regular buses from below Bab Mansour. Volubilis is signposted 5 km by car from Moulay Idriss, it is a pleasant walk or you can go directly by taxi. You can negotiate a taxi in Meknes that takes you directly to Volubilis in Meknes in a grand taxi or take a bus to Ouezzane and leave you nearby.
